Paul Farrell joined Dimensional's European operations as head of UK Institutional Clients in July 2011. He was previously a managing director at BlackRock where he worked as head of their UK strategic account management team and was also a member of the EMEA operating committee.

Paul started his career with Confederation Like (now part of Credit Suisse) in 1990, where he worked in their Pension Fund Investment Team. In 1993, Paul moved to Newton Investment Management and managed their pension fund client service team. After three years with Newton, he moved to Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock) in 1996 to work within their continental European sales and service team, and during 1998 moved to Amsterdam to create a Benelux sales and service office. When Paul returned to London in 2000, he helped create a new team focusing on the 100 largest pension funds that he then went on to manage from 2007, and he was promoted to managing director in 2009. Paul also holds the Investment Management Certificate.
